From birthday parties, to sporting events, to play dates with friends, and Thanksgiving, November has been a very fun-filled month! It amazes me everyday how fast Laila is growing up! She is doing so great, and we feel blessed beyond measure to be her parents! I have taken tons of pictures this month, so I separated them into slideshows to make it easier on myself. Enjoy!!!

On November 17th we took our first trip to Discovery Cove! We went with Nate's mom and sisters, and it was a blast! Joy's cousin, Melissa, is a trainer at Discovery Cove and she got to show us all the behind the scenes stuff and introduced us to Rose, the dolphin she was working with that day. Although the water was a bit chilly at first, it was a gorgeous day out. Laila did great! We made a lot of wonderful memories that day! Hope you enjoy the pictures!
This first set of pictures is from a Pumpkin Patch Laila and I went to with our Mommy & Me group at the beginning of October. It was a beautiful day and lots of fun to watch the kiddos running around checking out all the pumpkins!

This next group of pictures is from a Fall Festival that we went to with our friends at River of Life church. Laila hung out with a few friends there and had a blast! It was so fun to see all the kids in their cute costumes!

After the Festival we stopped by Papa and Grammy's. Laila kept making this funny face and then laughing at her self!
On Halloween morning, Nate and I took Laila to another Pumpkin Patch at Sanlando Methodist. We got some cute pictures of her trying to find the perfect pumpkin!

We are definitely thanking God for her every day! Like I always say, she is the greatest blessing from the Lord we have ever received!
Later in the day on Halloween, we were invited to a party at the home of the Moss Family! We enjoyed some good food and then took the kids trick-or-treating around the neighborhood! Laila didn't quite understand what to do with the candy that was given to her at each house. She just wanted to take it out of the bucket and hold it all in her hands! In the end though she kind of got the hang of it and was having a great time!

Aunt Holly planned a fun Girl's Trip for us in the middle of October! Laila and I went with Grammy, Aunt Holly, and Holly's good friend Courtney. We rented a mini-van for the drive and our first stop was Charleston! Our time in Charleston mainly consisted of sight-seeing, shopping (although we didn't buy much!), and eating really yummy food! I had never been to Charleston before so I especially enjoyed going on a carriage ride around the city to learn more about its history and to see the beautiful architecture. Charleston reminded me very much of Savannah, where Nate and I got engaged almost 5 1/2 years ago! Hopefully I will be able to take him to Charleston one day since he has never been there either.
The second part of our girl's trip was in Myrtle Beach. The couple days we were there were mainly just spent relaxing and enjoying each other's company. It was a little too cold to actually go to the beach, although it did look very pretty!
We missed Daddy terribly while we were gone, but it was tons of fun getting away for a little vacation and hanging with the girls (although it is hard to call it a vacation sometimes with a toddler)!

Although we try to be as transparent as possible, we usually only blog about the fun memories and special milestones in our family life. We recognize that we capture many wonderful pictures of our family and friends, and though to some it may appear that everything is easy and wonderful, we can attest to the fact that it is not. Yes, the Lord has given us many wonderful blessings and we feel blessed beyond measure, but we are far from perfect and we mess up and struggle just like everybody else.
