Summer Get-Aways!

Laila's first "get-away" this July was to Tallahassee when Mommy and Laila had a girl's weekend with Grammy and Aunt Holly (and Scooter)! It was a lot of fun! We got to visit with Nana, the Peacock family, and the some of the Phelps. The girls also spent the afternoon in Thomasville, GA, which is only a half hour drive from Tallahassee. Here we did some shopping, visited Uncle David and Aunt Colleen's historic home, and celebrated Grammy's birthday at a yummy restaurant. While in Tallahassee, Mommy and Laila also got to visit with some friends. Laila had a playdate and enjoyed a yummy breakfast with Benjamin and Caroline. Then we got to stop by the Grulichs and see Avery and Kinley for a bit. Before leaving town, we also visited the Garcia family. It was great to see Gabe and meet his new baby sister, Hannah, for the first time. Our trip to Tallahassee was a short one and we missed Daddy, but it was still tons of fun and many great memories were made!

Our 2nd little "get-away" this July was to St. Augustine! Papa and Nonna Schuck invited us over for a night while they were there on vacation. Aunt Susie and Aunt Bekah got to be there at the same time as us too. We had a great time! We enjoyed a beautiful day at the beach, ate at some yummy restaurants, and had fun doing a little shopping. Again, it was a short "get-away", yet tons of fun and great memories were made! Thanks again Papa and Nonna!

We also had a fun little "get-away" for the day with Oma to Cocoa Beach! It was a gorgeous day and Laila had a blast playing in the sand and the ocean with her Oma!

Our last little "get-away" in July was to Papa and Mary Alice's River House. It is on the St. John's River in Debary. We had such a great time relaxing and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. It was wonderful getting away just the three of us!
